Leo officially takes over.

For visualization purposes, the following special guest stars will be playing characters:

Alexander Maxwell will be played by George Clooney (As seen in the Ocean's movies) because he's the only older guy I could think of who had a good cross between looking like a douche but still comes across as relatively charming.

Marie Maxwell will be played by Candice Bergen (As seen in Boston Legal), because Murphy Brown is the only woman over 25 I could think of who doesn't either look like Aunt May or has so much plastic surgery that she still looks 25.

Laura Vandervoort will be returning as Victoria Maxwell, Leo's sister.

Leonardo appears on televisions all over the world, looking fairly exhausted and sitting behind a desk in what looks like one of his "royal" offices. "Hitler's dead, again. Your king and Queen Zenith took care of it. You'll have more information and photos soon, but Queen Zenith will be fine. Now back to your regularly scheduled programming."

A little girl is playing with a ball in front of her suburban house, then a man in tattered rags begins walking toward her. She runs into the house yelling, "Mommy mommy! There's a strange man outside!"

The mother, a typical 1950s housewife, laughs and waves the man off through the kitchen window. "Don't worry dear, that's just a Human! All we have to do is press the M button located at the bottom of every telephone!" The camera switches to the phone and zooms into the red button with the black M before the mother presses it.

Suddenly, the camera goes outside, and a black car pulls up. Four dupes in black suits roll up and pull the man inside, then they drive away with the sound of the man being beaten up.

"See, Sally? Human Control is always looking out for us!"

"Wow, Mommy, I love Human Control!"

It cuts to a graphic of dupes with their arms crossed in front of the Earth flag (The American flag with an Earth where the stars should be), then white words appear: "Human Control, just dial M."

Leo attempts to seduce with his awesome, but Lizzie's awesome is OVER 9000!!!

I met this interesting girl, she had a beautiful accent, and while she may not have the impact on me that Emma has, it would be nice to associate with more women who actually make me feel like a man.

When I'm done taking over the company, I'm sure Emma will be that girl, but who cares about that right now, there is so much I'll be able to do. First I should try to buy up some of the small West Chester businesses; no reason the Xavier teachers need to know that, but I'd enjoy the irony of them contributing to my richness when I have the company.

I thought I had more reasons for taking over the company and screwing over my father than spite and lust, I'm sure I do... oh! That's right, I'm going to be the ruler of the entire world, how could I forget something like that? With my father's money I can go on a spree, crushing and buying out companies, putting Mutants in higher positions.

Emma doesn't seem to care about taking over the world even with her power and wealth, but I don't care. You see, I'll have the power and money to start pushing for mutant politicians, and one day I'll be the president of the world (I'm going to unite all nations under /Me/), and state rulers will be mutants.

There will be a huge reveal, once the world is taken by me, they wont even know it until we all suddenly decide to reveal our status as Mutants, and we instantly crush anyone who rebels. What do we care if an entire country rebels against us? We'll just destroy the entire thing, and once that happens no one will ever rebel against us again...

Though just in case we'll have capital punishment for Humans. If they even utter one word like "mutie", if they steal our food, if they try to have higher positions or protest, or even suggest that they're equal to us, they'll be killed in a pit of fiber glass and razor blades.

And if you're wondering where all the Mutants will suddenly come from, three simple things: Breeding Programs, Hyperaccelerated Cloning, and Raising the Dead (This will be possible if I rule the world).

Emma! Why don't I listen to you? I should have known the situation with that Invisible Man was hopeless. But I'm going to try to get one last shred of use out of him. They can't arrest me for sending a spy to Xavier's (Can they?), and even if he does somehow manage to screw up, I have papers ready to write him off as delusional (That means nut, in professional terms).

Emma! Why didn't you tell me how stupid it would be to have hope in this kind of person? I didn't mind scaring him with my powers, he needed some sort of wake up call. Sabretooth... really? Come on! I've done some stupid things in the past, I even heroically stood up to Magneto when he decided that he does, infact, /love/ Humans (That's how I remember it). But even /I/, someone who could probably bash the man's head in with a car hood, the future King of the entire world, would not go out Sabretooth hunting.

Emma! Is it acceptable to beat up your henchmen to teach them things? I use the term henchmen not because I'm some crazy villain, but because that's how /Humans/ see me. It's like the mafia, how they took terms from movies to strike fear into the general public. Well, if Humans would see me as a villain, then I will call myself a super villain, and I will have these things called henchmen, and one day with the combined funds from being a talent agent and a psycho therapist, I will have a space laser that shoots cars... from space!

Some commentary for Emma!

As much as I'd love to do all my alts (Amadeus, and formerly Magnes), something tells me I'd have no idea what I was thinking with those two >_>. Plus I haven't played Amadeus very much.

So, I will only be doing Leonardo commentary, since I've played him the most and understand what I was thinking with him best. (>_> Though I like to pretend my very early logs don't exist, they're embarrassing like some early comicbook stories)

I have an invisible man! Well, not quite /have/, but I'll certainly do something with him. He has a few issues, nothing I can't fix or use. I believe I'll speak to Ms. Frost and see if she has any use for him. Sure she's an incredibly talented business woman with no evil intentions at all, but perhaps she can use an invisible person anyway.

I'm sure she's not listening to anything I'm saying in my head right now as I type, so I really mean it when I say that I'm going to offer her this person as a sincere show of gratitude, and not because I'd like her to stop making me do strange things with her powers.

Ms. Frost is really great, I can't express how great she is, it's nice to write how wonderful and talented Ms. Frost is on my own personal computer.

Ms. Frost, keep on doing what you're doing, it's absolutely fantastic.

God she's so great.

Invisible People Have Issues Too

(This entry is written on Leonardo's laptop, not online)

Oh, oh, I can't tell you how convenient the timing is. God, are you there? Thank you for this bountiful Asteroid I am about to receive. I should be able to hire some crackpot preacher and get some followers, hopefully I'll attract some mutants, then we can assure them safety from the asteroid. There's no way I can lose, if the Asteroid hits we'll all be in a bomb shelter, I'm sure Frost has something prepared.

Those of us who are of superior evolutionary status will rule the world, though I have to find a way to deal with Magneto and Jean Grey; it should be relatively simply to take care of Jean Grey by taking advantage of her unwillingness to use her powers, or perhaps I could simply manipulate her and take both her /and/ Frost in the post apocalypse.

Hmm, Magneto, he's a huge issue, but he's still just an old man, I understand that now. He's on his last leg and any difference in our power can be compensated for with my youth and vitality. Besides, the last I checked he was captured and will probably die with the other Humans. And if by some chance the Asteroid does get destroyed or burns up in the atmosphere, I /still/ stopped it, it'll /still/ be proof to my followers that my puppet is all powerful, people are naive that way.

And speaking of my future Queen, it's about time to show her the results of my hard work as an agent, I'll be able to amass a large amount of wealth with the kind of resources she has to offer. But that's all for now, I think I'll go watch 300 and envision the victory of my kind over the Humans, except this time the Spartans win!

I might be dropping Magnes soon, so if there's anything anyone wanted to do, just comment and we can work something out, though he wasn't exactly the most active so there's probably not many.

Also, excluding anything I may do with Magnes before he goes, I'm gonna be taking a bit of an extended leave from RP for a while. Maybe not that long, I don't know, it all depends. I should be around whenever that legal stuff gets decided, just @mail Leonardo or something when details get together. And no I cannot go and research that myself, it's not exactly simple to go and figure out complex legal issues, so if no one else can figure it out, then we're just screwed.

(OOC: I'm having connection problems and am unable to really RP for a few days, so I'm posting some quick IC updates in the journal right now.)

Leonardo has moved back into his apartment after being picked up by his sister. He hasn't confessed anything to the police yet, but the will thing is still at the school for whatever someone wants to do with it. Understandably he's postponed appointments for medical reasons, but can be visited, phoned, or emailed by Mr. Bach, Emma, Kara, or his sister. He would have given his home number to the other escapees while they were still at the school too.

About the legal stuff:

I have no idea how the legal things are being handled, but it's too annoying to really bother with, so if it comes up, it comes up, if it doesn't then it just doesn't. I don't feel like bothering with it anymore, so if staff figures something out about it, they can tell me, otherwise I'm not bringing it up again. (Yes it's annoying as hell, that's why I'm not trying to figure it out anymore until someone actually says I need to.)

Jamie's gift basket:

Considering the dupe -did- save his life, Leonardo would have had a gift basket sent to Prime's dorm with a bunch of expensive things in it (Assume handheld electronics, foreign meats, and things that would be useful to a person that makes multiple people. Use your imagination for that, though don't make Leonardo bankrupt >_>.). Also there would be a little note saying "Thanks, and sorry. - L"

Emma would also receive another voice mail, this one would say: "This is Leonardo, I'm home now, I apologize for not thinking the school invitation through a bit more. I'd really like to speak with you though, it's been a rough... well, I have no idea how much time has passed since I've been gone yet, but just talk to me when you're not busy. You can visit or call, I don't care which."

Oh, one last OOC thing, I need to know a rough time period for Leonardo's healing. I can only assume it'll likely be months. And if I'm forgetting anything or if anyone has any questions, just comment, or page me while I'm logged in on Leonardo or Magnes.

Leonardo has decided on an attempt to use a phone with the casts on his hands. It turns out to be easier than he expected, though still uncomfortable. The following are various voicemails he's left people:

Kara: Leonardo's voice is calm and collected before he speaks, trying to sound as reassuring as possible. "Many things have happened, I'll be away for a while, but I promise I'll be back when it's all sorted out. You wont be able to reach me at my cell number, I'll have a new one shortly and then you'll have the number."

Emma: For Emma, Leonardo sounds much less confident, but he tries to at least seem collected. "Ms. Frost, I'm not sure if you've noticed, but I've been gone for a while. Many complicated things have happened, and I'd rather not mention them over the phone. I just wanted you to know that I haven't forgotten you, and I'd love to see you some time, though I'm afraid I don't exactly look like a playboy at the moment." He pauses for a weak laugh, followed by a sickly cough. "Sorry about that. If you're interested in having a chat, stop by Xavier's School for the Gifted, I'm in some sort of medical area, just ask for me. If you're too busy to come here, just leave a voicemail at my home phone, and I'll get to it as soon as I return."

Mr Bach: Bach gets a tone much like the one he gave Emma, but much more distressed "Those people, the people I mentioned before, they kidnapped me and practically tortured me and a bunch of other mutants. I trust you know who this is, I'm at Xavier's School for the Gifted in a medical area. If you could take time out of your busy schedule, I would appreciate it if you could stop by so we can discuss things. I don't feel like I can take any very long trips at the moment, these stitches are killing me." He ends the call abruptly after that so he can move on to the next without keeping the phone held up too long.

He does call his sister, and his parents, but those aren't voicemail and would likely require scenelets, if I feel like writing them.

Before any surgeries Leonardo had to get, he left the will he wrote laying on a random table since of course they were going to throw away his bloody scrubs.

He makes no effort to look for the note again, since he's pretty much forgotten about even writing it, but who ever finds it will read the following, written with blood outlining the ink:

My name is Leonardo Maxwell, and this is my will. I don't know if this will hold up in court, I'm sure it wont, but maybe there's a chance due to the circumstances. I wrote it using my blood, hoping that can somehow be used to identify this as mine.

This wont be much of a will, really, I want all of my money to be equally divided among the prisoners here, except for the Madrox dupes, I want their share to go to Prime. First and foremost, the money must be used for any medical and legal issues regarding this situation, after that they can do what they want with it.

Next I would like to write a confession, since I'm sure they'll all be sure to run my name into the ground without even considering the reasons I've told them, even in death (By either Magneto coming to rescue them, or by the hands of that Asian scientist.).

I was approached by these people in December, they told me that they captured a Jamie Madrox duplicate and showed proof on a mini-DVD player. I admit that I've always thought of experimenting on Jamie Madrox's dupes, but not like this, not like -anything- that's happened in here! Nonetheless, I agreed to go along with it and I gave them -one- payment, though it happened to be a large one so they'd believe I was genuinely interested (And I admit that for a short time I -did- seriously consider it.). But the real reason I did this was to get them to trust me, so I could find out where their facility was and see if they captured more mutants than the duplicate.

What I thought was, if they captured a duplicate, what would keep them from capturing other mutants? But, I failed, my plan backfired. I was going to warn Sarah Rushman that they may be the people picking up mutants, but when I warned her, we both ended up getting captured, and now I'm here in this hell waiting desperately for my death. It hurts, everything hurts, I just want it to end...

In closing, I just want to say, to -everyone- who has had to suffer for my mistake; I'm sorry.

Written neatly on a piece of paper;

"That detective, Magneto's pupil, Sarah, the duplicates. Do I care about any of them? Is there a point? We were so easily captured even though I thought we were vastly superior to humans. Perhaps I should simply give into them, there doesn't seem to be a way out for them, none of them are ever getting out of here. There is no such thing as mutant pride and sticking together, those were silly childhood notions.

So what next? I suppose if I tell the scientists some sensitive information I know, they'll let me leave. There's no point in staying here, I have to leave everyone else behind. I'm sure they'll be interested in getting more funding, they know I wont betray them as long as they have Sarah in here. If I don't look out for her, who will? I shouldn't be looking out for other mutants, I should be looking out for people who need it."

After the writing, he crumbles the paper up and throws it carelessly at the opening side of the door. He falls asleep soon after, and the paper is laying in a convenient spot so that anyone simply cracking the door can easily grab it while he's asleep.

The first thing Victoria does after three days of Leonardo missing, is file a missing person's report. Leonardo has never neglected his obligations without warning, and he usually calls her when work is stressing him out and he feels like going on vacation. Being as suspicious as she is and knowing that Leonardo works with mutants, she stops at mutant affairs to see if they can somehow help. They tell her to file a missing person's report if there's no evidence of mutant involvement, which she's already done. (Correct me if I'm wrong there, I'm pretty sure that's a plausible thing they'd say!)

Next, using her key that Leonardo has yet to learn she has, she enters his apartment and looks through his voicemail and recently replaced laptop. She finds someone he's actually told her about, Mr. Bach, and she's heard of Kara a few times.

Message to Kara: "Hello, this is Victoria Maxwell, Leonardo Maxwell's sister. He's missing and I've filed a missing person's report with the police. If you have any idea where he is, please call me at (Number), if you know anything. Thank you.

Message to Mr. Bach: Hello, this is Victoria Maxwell, Leonardo Maxwell's sister. I understand you're his lawyer and have been acting as a kind of consultant, so I found it necessary to inform you that Leonardo is missing. I've filed a missing person's report, and I'm not sure what else to do. Please call me at (number), if you know anything. Thank you.

Lastly, Victoria returns to Leonardo's computer, finding a name mentioned over and over but locked in passworded files. Jamie Madrox. And look, there's an address. "That name sounds familiar. Maybe he can help..."
